When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,

Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is strange with its twists and turns
As every one of us sometimes learns
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the peace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver lining of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far.
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things are worst that YOU MUST NOT QUIT!

I like the little poetry clip you submitted. Thanks. Someone could think that it might not really apply in my case BUT *I* decide when the punishment stops. I can be done at any time. I have several homeboys that felt the same way. One is Sandman who I wrote about a month or so ago. He didn't do ONE DAY of time! I guess I'm a glutton for punishment! I try to keep that shit out of my thoughts tho'. I find the strength to go on in many places. One is thru corny ass poetry like the one above. It's corny until you realize the cost of failure. Thanx again for your oh so true poem!

Hi Tabby! Thanks for dropping me a line. And don't feel too bad about not coming to see me so often. I know how it is. I'm "living in exile" and I know everyone's got a life to live and it's a lot of work to come here to visit someone who doesn't really have much to offer in return. It's by design. The government took everything from me. My kids, my family, all my belongings, my career, you name it, they took it. Especially my life. You only have so many years on this planet. In my eyes this is no different than any other murder. They are taking years from my life. It's enough to cause "Cape Fear" fantasies to flood my brain! Oh well. It's just one more reason to stay alive. Patience. I'm sure there's people that are praying I NEVER get out. If they're not then they don't know me at ALL! Not that I'd ever do anything illegal or that would hurt someone! I might hurt someone's feelings though! I love you, Tab. Thanx again for saying hi.
