By LeVar E. Jones C 2013

Don't shed no tears for me, when I'm dead and gone,
No need to bring tissue, 'cause I'll have a brand new home,
I'm asking all that attend, there's no need to cry for me,
Now I don't have misery that life cause because now I'm free.
No need to wear black, even though they'll put me under
Duties on earth is done, the angels had pulled my number.
If anybody asks you don't cry, no need for you to shed a tear,
Tell yourself he loved me, and in my heart he's here.
We all must go one day, no need to ask God why?
Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to die?
Of course there's the coffin, and flowers on the stone,
Now I'm at peace with God, no pain or aches through my bones.
I will miss everybody, but there's a better life to come,
I will be up there waiting, for my mother and son
When the casket is open, look at me and give me a kiss.
You have lost a good friend, and now I will be truly missed
May the love that you have for me, grow much stronger,
No matter how many years I live, I'll be dead much longer.
So when death decides to come, and God takes me away,
I'll be moving to my mansion and this could happen any day
Death! It will come to us all, great and small,
So when you walk outside, don't forget to stand tall.
When you walk out the church, put your heads to the sky,
'Cause that's where I'll be, so be happy and don't cry.
