Hmmm... Jody, my long time friend, thank you for the E-Mail and your comments in relation to "Hypocrisy in Massachusetts Class of Society".

Please keep in mind the meaning of being politically correct and how the upper class and middle class are supporting the "HYPOCRISY", by allowing the Judicial Branch to over-power the other (2) branches of government. -- The last event was back in July and August when the Governor signed the Meliza's law, when he knew about the scandal with the State Laboratory and the altering of drug testing affecting 4,000 criminal cases. I wonder where was the Governor's back-bone??

It is very important that you be aware of how our society has a different interpretation about crime in America:

1. When the poor steal from the rich, it is called "CRIME".

2. When the middle class steal from the upper class, it is called "MISMANAGEMENT".

3. When the upper class steal from the middle class, it is called "IMPROPRIETIES".

4. When the middle class steal from the poor, it is called "NOBLE OBLIGATION".

5. When there is corruption among politicians and rich people, white collar crime takes place and that is called "NORMAL PROCEEDINGS".

6. When the politicians of all (3) branches of the government steal from all sectors of American Society, it is called "FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY".

7. AND, when the poor people steal from another poor it is called "TOUGH LUCK".

HYPOCRISY has to be a priority around here, enough is enough, people have to be real. We can't tell the people that you can rob America while wearing a three piece suit, but if you do it in dungarees or with one of the millions of weapons sold illegally, or with questionable legality in this country, you will be punished for life.

HYPOCRISY again, I strongly believe that if we are to have laws in America, either we apply them equally and sensibly, or we don't apply them at all to anyone.

To further enhance my communications with my friends I am sending you an accurate report on line from the Massachusetts Parole Board since they took over back in 2011. The statistic of Parole being granted is 16.8% of the total amount of 130 cases that they reviewed.

The Parole Board made unanimous decisions on 121 individuals and 9 split decisions. - Parole Denials is as of today 105. -- 75 of them with (5) year set backs, 10 with a (4) year set backs, 12 with (3) year set backs, 7 with (2) year set backs and 1 with (18) months set back.

There was a single case (1) that has been postponed or continued. The Parole Board granted 23 cases for 2nd degree lifers, 5 of those have been released and 18 still awaiting release. - One of the cases the person passed away awaiting release.

Unanimous (5) year set backs on 75 cases, 41 individuals with (5) year set backs, 20 (5) year set backs at initial, 16 (5) year set backs at revocation. There has been 14 Paroles after revocation, 4 paroles at initial hearing, and 5 paroles at review hearing.

I am hoping that with this line of communication addresses the issues of concern with our friends in your area. The attached picture of me was taken on December 31, 2012, similar to the one I used for my book cover of DESPATRIADO - MAN WITHOUT COUNTRY, the only difference is that I'm older.

Keep your head in the right direction and please don't let HYPOCRISY affect your values and principles.

Your friend in the struggle,

LUIS D. PEREZ
