This man once refused to grow up
But thought he could take on the
World as a boy
This boy took on the world so long
He became strong
And thought he could win
He hated the world. The world was evil.
The world began winning. The boy began dying
Then a girl, concerned with groceries and blue jeans
Found this boy huddled inside
She picked him up. He kicked her gut. She cried
The boy
Died
The day
She cried
Middle aged, she says. I wanna play, he says
Jaded and maternal responsibilitated
Jaded traded a pine box because of the twinkle
In the eye of brown eyed, brown haired Goldie Lox
Laundered socks to cement box
Modern day love story.

The Game

A soldier from WWII was placed in a mental hospital because he kept standing up during combat and gesturing wildly at the explosions and bodies piling up all around him. He thought it was all "a sham".

I've been living a sham these past years with all the people I write and live around.

My fellow captives all have the same rulebook on how to interact with me and a goal.

My pen pals all correspond with each other prior to contacting me to make sure their free world rule book is followed. I'm sick of playing...
