Lol, that's so typical men!! You're so tough and big-mouthed, but when a cute lil spider comes by to say hi, you're about to die.. lol tehee :-D Although I have to admit, I'm not afraid of spiders, but I sure don't want to share bed with them, lol. Hey listen, I'm sorry about your girl Justine - I've read some of your posts, and you're mentioning her quite often, so it's obvious you loved her. I don't know what to say, nothing will ease the pain you're feeling. I've responded and made comments to a couple of posts of yours, but I haven't read it all. But I encourage you to keep on writing, it's a great way to occupy your mind and to deal with things. :-) Stay strong!
I agree with Melissa in terms of befriending Ms. Betty and staying strong. Some folks wouldn't care. It's good that you still do. someone here may act on her behalf but sometimes interventions don't turn out as we hope. -Hafsa
Dear Marty, I really like this piece of art (girl on moon). As a fine artist my self with formal training I can say your technique is excellent. Your use of shading to create depth is extremely impressive. I read you are self taught which even more impressive. You have a gift. I started drawing as a child as a means of escape and as a way to deal with my emotions and things I could not change around me. I have done a lot of portraits simply to help me examine my relationship to the person I am drawing. I hope you continue to use art to express yourself and as an escape from your conditions. Through art you are only limited by your imagination. You are very good. Please post more art in the future. I would like to see more of your work. Fellow artist, Tish
Thank you for writing to me. It's little things like this that make my day and remind me that there really is more to my life...the world then the normal everyday b.s. and drama. I am going to make this response quick for now but I will write to you again later. Whether it be on here, e-mail, or I might just "help the post office" like you mentioned and write (sorry, I thought it was cute how you said that).
I'm wondering what the "reply id" thing is all about....am I suppose to label my responses/comments to you with that too?? Do I need to reference that in my response/comment?? Sorry, I'm still new to this whole thing.
Also, I responded to something that I had transcribed one time...nothing bad or hateful...just AND ONLY...my thoughts about that particular piece of writing. The next day, another person sent a response about how terrible of a person (the guy who wrote the original post/blog) was and is. I responded to that "response", saying I didn't know anything about the guy and/or what he did or didn't do but I just thought that it was a good thing that he had something to keep himself occupied. I also said something about I really hope that he has changed and/or realized that he had done something wrong because if he was just saying that, then, he could possibly do or make the same mistake or even worse the next time that he gets out. I wasn't being mean, hateful, or cruel...I was being honest and in the very, nicest possible way.
Well anyways, a couple of days later, I received a response from "someone" else (I have no idea who this person was) saying "well, just wait until he gets out." Whatever that means....
So, I'm wondering...do you guys REALLY enjoy people responding to PAPCO? Or, if I or someone else were to say or ask something that someone doesn't like or agree with, will we get responses like the one I just mentioned? I'm just curious! I actually like being able to respond back and forth but I also won't if I'm going to get responses like that.
Anywho...I wish you the best and I hope you can accomplish everything you are trying to do with PAPCO. Thank you again for my other response from you, I really enjoyed it and look forward to many more.
Well, you're welcome for me being bored. ;) Not really what someone likes to say about their job but it is what it is, and it lets me do this transcribing for you. Which, in turn, helps me with my typing and I've been learning A LOT too!!
I find it a little humorous that your name is Byron....only because a friend of mine's, husband, has been trying to get me and his friend...Byron, to go out on a date or something. However, he is actually much younger than I am, so, I don't really feel that comfortable with the whole thing. I am used to dating guys who are older than I am. Also, I have friends that have sons, his age, it just doesn't feel right.
Anyways, I did find the PAPCO blog page...I looked around for a couple of minutes but I haven't really had a chance to "snoop" or "dig" into it. Either way, I am glad that you are so passionate about it and have something to do and/or keep your mind going and stimulated. I don't know your history and back story but what I do know is....I am unable to keep my mind busy/occupied for more than 5 mins...everyday and all day, without sitting here...zoning out!! So, good for you!!
Well, I really enjoyed your response to my comment, you are actually the first to do so and it makes me even happier to know that I really am doing all this for "someone", you know?? Well, I hope you take care and as long as you keep posting, I'll keep transcribing. Keep your head up and keep on keeping on.... Best Wishes, Meagan
