The NGR Word issue

The "Nigger" or NGR issue is what this WODZ edition of New Generation Rising (NGR) is now refered to within our
editorial/writing circle. If you have some sensitivity about use of the NGR word, you should be aware of the subject
matter & language. What I mean is, you should read the series of posts related to the NGR issue, and comment to it. The
subject & topic is as much about duíscussion & dialogue as it is about teaching, or sharing perspective.

The initial 3-4 sets or posts are to be the opening pages of NGR later. After transcription & editing, not only does
what you transcribe go into the pages of NGR, but what yoz post in your comments may go into the comment/reply
secction of NGR as well. This issue is what I call the multimedia edition of our prisoner zine series. Which is
posting & writing the pages of our zines there on my blog, taking your transcriptions & comments, and putting
that all into WODZ.

At the core of this edition of NGR, it was intended for this blog to reach a young generation on a more interactive
and accessible medium, so subject matter like what you'll find in the NGR word titles is intended to be
as much engaging, relevant, and in-tune, as it is raw. Honest & direct. It's something worth reading - for
those with better things to do, like you.

Also, look for prompts or topic related questions under the NGR hashtag (') post titles. A #NGR is a que that the
subject matter or ongoing theme is changing, or just fishing for more specific feedback from your comments.

The creative energy and conversation is largely focused on what is now the NGR word issue, as well as other related
issues or racial identity, culture, and history.
Both myself and xzyzst are still in research & development mode and writing as much as can be covered before posting it.
Once the comments begin to reach me for reply, it's going to be interesting to see how this and following volumes of
NGR come together. Lets see.

Poor Troy. I am praying for you and though it may feel lonely as ever in a tomb alone there are people that love you and care for you. It may seem as if all hope and friendship is lost but you are never alone in this universe. I hope the best for you and hope that your soul may find peace. It seems to me that you have such a pure soul and your writing is so emotional and is truly touching for me. What you have written is beautiful and your heart is beautiful as well. May you find some solace in all the despair. May there be some sunshine in such a dark and gloomy place. Much love and peace

Dear Troy, I'm not sure whether you are still in administrative confinement but I pray to God that you are not. Recently the horrors of solitary confinement in this country have come to my attention it has grabbed my life by the throat. Not many people are aware of the dehumanizing torture that happens in prisons for years and years with no one policing them and telling them to stop it. I'm planning to start a protest at my school against solitary confinement but my lack of knowledge of the prison world leaves me blind to what exactly goes on. I pray that your soul is finding peace because you seem to be a beautiful and pure human being from your writings. The system uses solitary to break away at a humans spirit and only the truly strong can attempt to maintain it. Your strength is infinite and is stronger than the concrete walls. They may have confined you physically but your beauty and strength has pervaded beyond those walls. The universe watches over you every day and every night and the sun the skies and stars are watching over you. May your heart find strength and peace through all the oppression.

NGR Prologue File @Papyrus Collective Group

Welcome to NGR,a different direction, and take on the multitude of
unique topics and situations that a New Generation is Rising from
through effective dialogue and action oriented solution based
ideas.

Here, you'll see The N-Word viewed from angles intentionally and
defiantely non-politically correct, as a desired catharsis for some,
and an opportunity for others to display xenophobia against societies
younger population and urban culture.

This conversation is open, and waiting for your two cents, as
your opinions are valuable and vital to the overall conditions
that our youth face in thesecriticle times that go well
beyond The N-Word, also uncluded.

Although we dont always need to agree, in order to move forward,
unity based movements require that we agree to move forward
together, inspite of our disagreements.

So again, Welcome to NGR, inspite of our differences.
