Almost there young bro, you're almost there....This is Earnest, from Raleigh.I stayed across from Alex. You would come over from time, to time to talk to me.
Hi Harlan, I JUST now ( Sunday Feb. 21st 2016) got your reply from October. While this site is a great tool for you all, on this end it takes us a long time to hear back. I could deliver a msg by carrier pigeon, or walk it to where you are, and you would get it faster. haha! Saw Ron last month I think it was. He seems to be holding up ok, considering where he is. We are working on a parole plan for him. The way we have everything set up and said, it's damn near a fool proof plan, yet i think they will find away to keep him. No matter who you write to, be it the higher ups in Madison or advocates, it's hard to get you guys out. Just when you think there is a chance, they pull the bullshit card out and nit pick at everything, like with Ron they bring up an old disaplinary about having too many envelopes. He had like 5 over. Now that he has a hearing in april, they are looking for more crap. I think it's because he has a plan outside that you can't punch a hole through, so they wanna get him on little crap. Because you know, 5 envelopes extra on the inside could be a threat on the outside. Maybe that's a threat to society?! The system is a sham and you and Ron are trapped in the middle of all of it.I read so many blogs on here and the defers get longer and longer. Always saying " not enough sufficent time served" Explain "sufficent" enough time. for Ron apparently 40 yrs is still not enough. I hope that changes in april. We faxed everyone who may have something to do with his hearing, the parole plan we have for him. They got so tired of us, they sent us a letter stating they recieved everything and will put it in his file. That was probably to shut us up. Guess we will see in april.
I enjoy your blogs, they are full of information that people need to know. Don't stop blogging, there are still people who need a nudge to get their heads out of the clouds and see the reality for which it is.
Talk to you soon. ( Or when ya post again maybe I will see it in 3 months.) ha! ha!
All positive thoughts and prayers sent your way! ~Carole- Friend of Ron Schilling
You'll receive this message on the 22nd, I can see here. Hope you do!
I was at the funeral today, the 20th, of the mother of Christine.I saw Philip who came over to bring a last greeting to his beloved grandmother. He returns today, Saturday. It was a warm sevice and there were a lot of people! She was the wife of a doctor; he's 98 or even 99, but at this very moment he's in a clinic... His mind is going backwards, I heard. :(
I saw plenty of pictures of Claire's 5th birthday. Leslie sent them. She got a marvelous blue bicycle! With a purse in the front. Still with side wheels. Her party was in the park with all her friends. She got so many presents from them! They did games, they bricolated nice things, like a butterfly with diamonds on its wings, and very inventing activities. A birthday cake with princesses. You should see her face! Precious! Tonight I'll call your dad.To thank him for sending the artwork of Smitty!!I wrote him a thankfull letter.:))) The artwork is on my rocking chair to look to every day. Tonight I saw on tv a program of Rudyard Kipling, when he made his voyage to India.Very interesting it was!!
George, take care, and have a warm embrace from me! Love you!
saw your latest post - and the line "I gave you your space now my space is empty" I sort of wish that I could reassure you - but it's not in me to do so. At first I needed the time - but then, as I told you, I found out some things I'd prefer not to know - and now I'm not sure what I can live with... I'll still check here and send notes but I don't know if I can do more
I'm just leaving you a note to let you know that I have transcribed an entry of yours and I will be going through and transcribing what other articles you have written that have not already been transcribed as of yet.
I was just reading through some blogs and thought I'd say hello. What you say about being afraid to succeed definitely resonates with me as well. Somehow I think I hold on to the idea that if I never really succeed I can never truly fail, either, so that by holding myself back I'm protecting myself. The small failures that come from not really trying seem more manageable than the potential for big failures that would come with success. I'm working on this all the time. Glad to hear that self reflection and work are paying off for you.
