Dear Goldfish1871,
I really appreciate your comments and for caring enough to respond. The lockdown is still on, not as bad, though. They have restored most of our privileges, including three (3) of my favorites, showers, hot meals, and recreation. Now, how can you go wrong with that! :)
Yeah, the peanut butter and jelly was a bit much. I recognize that as a prisoner I have forfeited most of my rights, but peanut butter and jelly every day, that was just downright torture. I have no clue how I survived the madness.
I have no idea what would have happened had I had a peanut allergy. However, I am glad that that wasn't the case, because prison is an uncaring world. I gave away all my peanut butter and jelly, anyway. I have a very strong dislike for both (long story), so trying to eat peanut butter and jelly was extremely hard.
Things are getting back to normal slowly, not that normal is good here, but it is what it is, and I made my bed so I must lie in it. I hope that you will read my next blog, which I will post mid May, on Malcolm X. Any advice? I hope that you will at least let me know what you think about it. I know that Malcolm X was a polarizing figure in the American movement for human rights, but for me I see past all the negative propaganda. So mid May, hopefully.
Sincerely,
Teze
