Lisa,

First off, thank you, Lisa. Thank you for your work on the issue of solitary confinement, thank you for transcribing my funny style writing, and thank you for your words and humanity.

Really I am shocked that you are able to transcribe my words seeing as how I write in such a way ;). Probably should have paid better attention in school.

These cases you shared are encouraging, I am hopeful that one day the true cost of solitary is exposed. This is torture, bottom line. But at the same time this is America and we do not torture ;) so ssh - keep it low.

In my own case I am very pessimistic about ever getting out of solitary. They will always justify doing this to me by saying security concerns. But it seems to me a moot point, seeing as how all my violence occurred for the most part in supermax lock downs. I only became a "murderer" after years of isolation on death row, for crying out loud. So obviously, it seems to me anyway, that this concrete box breeds ugly - I could be wrong too, you know - maybe I'm just a monster. If so, luckily I turned into one in prison and not on the streets. After all, I never had to endure a world out there such as exist in here. Anyway, sorry for the crybaby woe is me. Really stressed out right now. A lot of ugly on this side. Just wanted to thank you and also tell you if you are interested, you can write me directly. My address is on the site. Sure would be a lot faster, and yea also I'm lonely as you can tell :). Later. You be safe.

Jesse
