Letter to Kerri Renee and All of You
Howdy Kerri! :) I just received your comments on 28 May and am now replying for all of you, again, beware that BTB sometimes is late on sending your comments, likely due to their fiscal crunch. To be certain I get them, you ought to snail mail me - but post them on my blogg too, as I like to address inssues you all bring up for other readers too. - Kerri, I am definitely not trying to be a popular prisoner, to staff nor to prisoners. I leave that to the scrubs, who don't realise playing that game enslaves them to their "fans". M-F's can either like me or hate me or whatever. - It is one of the biggest ironies that the "system" claims to want to correct prisoners, yet in many ways it rewards the most violent and predatory amongst us (e.g. snitches, guys who burn another to get out of their own juam or, in one guy I know's case, to get "doughnuts with sprinkles"). Thus if I acted like Jesus, I'd get it rough; acting like Dr. Lector, on the other hand, discourages at least the smarter predators around me. - Glad I captured your attention! :) Go ahead and speak your mind. Read James Joyce - he's a famous writer who wrote in a rambling style called "free association" which is how we all naturally think. My writing is more... linear simply because I've done so much of it and studies/applied logic/rhetoric principles to it... litigation, which I hate to love and love to hate! - Don't beat yourself up.. to bad, about your mistakes. Others got that angle covered, I'm sure! I too have gnawed at my insides over regrets. It's only good if it helps you not to f up again. - Yeah, my mentality/belief is that adults serve their youth, prepare them to carry on for the dying adults, so child abusers are "evil" to me and I assure you... don't fare well around me. Dudes who prey on women, same category - hardens women's hearts towards decent guys (as a woman, you gotta keep the women righteous) - Yes I'd probably be free if I'd stayed with that church... and been a terrible hypocrite/cynic. You and I, I think, are/were in the same boat in that we need(ed) a strong social safety net; if a church is the best you can find, stick with it. Religion of any kind (believing in eternal life) offers the huge ability to cope with the small stuff others sweat by getting a believers focus on eternity rather than the immediate. A conscious understanding of ourselves and the role we play in eternity, which I now have, helps the same way: I don't matter much, but my ideas and the help I pass on can impact humanity for eons. Problem was, without that church, I had nothing/nobody to check my brilliant ideas, such as my main crime. An abusive wife would have done the trick too! :) But here I am and trying to take the most of it. C'est la vie - Take care of youself. No need to censure yourself with me. :) Please let the cowgirls know about my blog, writer's orgs, the media, your mamma and them church folks too!
With Respect,
Nate
