Hello Out There!

I'm still in W.C.I.'s seg unit, but found out that my warden's really William Pollard, not the guy whose name's on the rule book, which I gave you all in post #118.

Apparently I'm now popular among the prisoners, not that I value this much. I don't want my reputation to rely on crack dealers, pimps/pedophiles, crackheads, + those who prey on women. But, after first being insulted, threatened and slandered, the Black dudes mostly behind that shut up + have even become polite. I made sure to get their names, DOC #s + get real good looks at them, saying nothing. They probably got word about me from their homies + realized why I paid careful, silent attention to them, then the biggest one said, "Nate looks crazy as fuck!" + the tough-guy crap evaporated. If I have to be...

Moving on. Again, my snail addy is:

It has been funny but distracting here, so I've made but little progress in my reading of The Society of Mind; thus I must apologize to my fellow + beloved mind-freaks who follow this blog for nuggets of genius. Feel free to be demanding of mine - I work well under torture + DEAD lines. :) I WORK 4 YOU.

Been busy writing suits for my neighbors, writing attorneys, some newspapers + magazines, telling them to tune into my blog. Now I gotta get back to producing, right? So I will. My main concern/problem I'm trying to solve is how our material brains, with what they are made of, represent our environment so seemingly accurately, albeit not with as much detail as, for example, the much-smaller brain of a dragonfly represents (visually at least) its environment, or the smaller brain of a bloodhound represents the olfactory facet of its environment, or a bat's brain its auditory environment... It seems magical to us, the overall effect, our impressions of reality. Yet our neurons represent all of this, allowing us to manipulate reality in order to promote our survival...

Greetings to any new readers. Thanks for sticking around to you older ones. Don't be shy, any of you. You're welcome, as are your ideas, criticisms, suggestions, etc.

Very Truly Yours

Nate :)

Glad you're not being bothered and you're "popular" haha. I don't know exactly what kind of cool level that is, but I'd rather be known as the "crazy looking" person no one messes with, than be f-ed with daily. I like your blog. I get bored easily and your writing has sparked my interest in reading more and wanting to reply. :) well. Don't have much to say, but hope the popularity is workin for you and hope you're well. - new friend/follower from Texas - kerri
