You, my love, are truly one special and unique woman! For seven plus years now, you've been my friend, my confidant, my love, hope, and inspiration. The road has been rocky for the two of us. There has been serious trials, strains, and tribulations. Things even present in any relationship, especially one as ours.
But even though prison walls and long miles divide us in the physical sense, our hearts and souls are even entwined. I'm sure there are times you've felt the need or pressure to let it go and give up on us. We both have. Yet even through crucial and painful events, together we have toiled and withstood the test and strain of time.
Love and determination you have shown me. True compassion and devotion you have given me. Unconditional friendship and faith you've surrendered to me in every aspect, and I am so fortunate and thankful.
You are one of the three reasons that I've sought to reform myself, that is to be a more humble and understanding person. To refrain from my once violent attitude and acts; to welcome and embrace a change within for the better. You and my daughter have truly kept me alive and sane.
