Sarah,
Wow! Seen your part on the blog and I must say that I was quite moved within; my heart absolutely jumped with joy seeing that you'd taken time to send me a few lines! Thank you so very much for each and every posted beam of love you were thoughtful enough to deliver. :)

I miss you so badly. My best friend and beloved daughter—"the Shining Star" so often in the darkened world in which I live. So often I've found myself sitting in the mist of depression; a depression so dark and consuming that existence itself seemed both senseless and disturbing at the the same time. Then I'd receive a visit on kite from you and it'd be like a brilliant beam of sunlight cutting through the morbid darkness; or the ever bright star Venus standing guard over me, lending me guidance out of life's sea of melancholic suffocation!

Should I ponder an appropriate nickname for you, it would be Aylaia, Aglia: the brilliant and shining one. Because you've been exactly this to me for 31 years now! You've even been a light of joy and love in my life; a beacon of inspiration and hope.

You and Christen I must say have been my reason to live, my courage to travel on this often crucial and haphazard road of life; and my strength to endure and survive the greatest and hardest of trials and tribulations behind these cold and uncaring prison walls.

Shine on my beloved Aglia, and know that you are ever loved and appreciated; that are without a doubt, precious and rare!

Pax et amo vebiscum
Mi argenteum astrum
Latin: "Peace and love be with you, my silver star."

Dad and friend,
David Perdunable Bauguess
