Cancer Awareness

*CANCER AWARENESS*

My Mom had breast cancer a couple years back, then had a tumor removed from her stomach and esophagus a couple years ago.

She's doing well now.

She sent me 2 butterfly cancer awareness pieces, and I'm sharing them with you.

How many of you dealt with cancer in one way or another?

Scared shitless? Yeah, me too.

I don't pray to any God or Goddess, but I do believe praying helps because it's a positive energy force.

Having cancer DOESN'T make you bad or ugly.

Having one or both breast removed DOESN'T make you less of a woman. I know a female officer, cute, sexy, tough, and she's full of life with one boob. It's not easy, but know we men still love you all.

If you see someone or know someone with cancer, do something nice for them, give them a flower, tell them not to give up, pray for them.

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post.

I think - or hope - Angelina Jolie's recent announcement will help women come to terms with the need for that particular operation. It was a pre-emptive strike against the probability of cancer, for her, but it was still a brave move.
