Patriotism

From While I Breath, I Hope. by Sarai Rose

Patriotism

Your political agendas no doubt
Are to bend and break us.
You thirst for absolute power
Drives your coal-black hearts
Within the midst of your diseased minds
Is where it all starts.

In every age, innocents have suffered
And paid for your blood lust
Unwilling victims of rage.
The cold, senseless wars you wage
Fills history's tombs with countless lies
Across the ocean in foreign lands
Innumerable victims dies.
Soldier and civilian alike
Turn another page!

Robbed one nation of its land
For your own filthy greed
Kidnapped the children of another
For your own sick fucking need.

Fill your children's heads
With patriotic dreams
Slowly you shape them into
Sweet little obsequies pawns
Until you've created the ultimate
Expendable human killing machines.

Patriotism is nothing more than
A virus that you've created (designed)
To infiltrate and enslave
the minds of the young, plain and simple.
Nationalism, breeding happy adults
To wield your military gun.

Fill the hungry public with overwhelming pride
Forever in your debt, in your service, they'll ever abide;
For your own selfish and greedy desires of power
You've sat and watched while in your command
Millions have died.
