We At War
We at war,
The blood pours,
Flooding the streets when the consumers sip too much alcohol.
We at War,
The blocks are flooded with rocks.
Produces money in knots,
So greed starts to breathe,
Then comes out the glocks,
Multiple gun shots,
So another heart stops.
We at War,
Our Neighborhoods are controlled by gang bangers.
Fighting about left or right.
So we kill each others.
Sometimes the bullet stray,
So death comes to innocent father or mother,
Or someone's brother or sister.
We at War,
In our communities on every corner there' a liquor store.
Domestic violence soars,
911 is called.
Now steps in the law,
Families separated- torn apart,
Cause comes the grips at Social Service paws.
We at War,
Christians praying- Muslims in prostration,
Buddhist deep in mediation.
Followers of religion, give out donations.
The leaders are accepting,
To their own selves goes the donations.
While the followers stay poor,
And they collect millions.
We at War,
Native tongues for foreign to their own people.
Traditions and Cultures being lost,
Taught that their ways are evil.
This is the death of different Civilizations,
Its hard for a revival.
We at War,
Fact life and big rims.
Has stolen our children's vision.
They no longer seek education,
But seek the fast living.
So they are dumb,
Dumb to the politics, and economics,
And laws of the world changing.
Now they are behind in education,
Or seek education in prisons.
We at War,
Jesus- Mohammad- Buddha,
Taught us to know thy self.
But we forgot ourselves.
We let evil take over ourselves,
So lets follow their footsteps for help.
So we can find ourselves.
And reclaim ourselves.
Them we can free our communities,
And free out streets,
and free our world,
And free our people and ourselves.
Cuz the greatest War is within ourselves.
Conquer that,
Then everything and everyone,
You can change and help.
