STAND TOGETHER

My heart has been warmed. My harsh and gloomy surroundings has been transformed. My frown has been replaced with a bright smile, and all of these things come from the "power of words". The power of YOUR words. Not only have you posted positive comments on my blog page, you also took out time to put my address to use, by writing me directly. Your lovely letters have put me in a state of bliss, and I've overdosed so often on them, that now I find myself constantly high and drunk with happiness. You have left me intoxicated with bliss, and I wake up hungover with joy. Your acceptance of me, maxes the energy and power of your words, even more powerful. Especially since your words are filled with sincerity, kindness, and empathy. "I learned in life, that people will either accept you for who you are, or reject you because you are not who they want you to be."

Everything happens because they were meant to. It is no accident why things happen the way they do, everything happens for a reason. It was no coincidence that your eyes landed upon my words, they were meant to. Through my words, I am able to provide insight, express my feelings, and share my reality. Through my words, I am able to walk you through the journey of my life. Throughout my journey, I have walked the campaign trail, and I continue to walk it. Unlike political elections, this election has a greater meaning. This one serves a greater purpose. The results of your vote, will elect me to serve as your... FRIEND, and I will serve as such with pride and honor. "I learned in life, that you do not always get to select your friends, sometimes they will elect you first."

Throughout my travels down this twisted. bumpy, and endless road, which is referred to as "the journey of life", I am pleased to have crossed paths with you along the way. When travelling down this road, one must travel alone at times, because there are certain things that need to be learned and understood in full on your own. On the other hand, there are times when one should not stand alone because there are things that can be learned and fully understood together. "I learned in life, that even if you are accepted, elected, respected, and progressive, you will also experience being rejected, neglected, disrespected, and regressive." That's a part of life. But at the present moment in my "journey of life", it was meant for you and I to cross paths. I am pleased to know that for the time being, I will not have to stand alone. You and I can now stand together.
