Out of all the things I've got to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, it's funny that I should be thankful for surviving another shakedown. after 18 years of suffering the indignities of being stripped searched and my cell ransacked, you would think that I'd gotten used to it. Well, I haven't, and I don't see how I ever will!
You would think that with the holidays, we'd get a reprieve from the oppressive conditions of solitary confinement, but sadly, no such luck. Like the movie, The Count of Monte Cristo, every year we're given the crack of the whip as an anniversary gift from the DOC. Just a little reminder that we're convicts. Happy holidays. ;)
