With those ripped jeans
Back when they
Weren't in style

back when you'd
Just met me
Playing over a gravel road

With someone I didn't know
Someone who invited me
To sit beside her
Someone I would wait for
To come back from school
Someone who laid beside me
Over dirty blankets
To count stars with

With someone who said
That she would wait
I fell in love
Back then
Back when I was eight
