"Prison Transfer"
6/8/14

Hello

I am writing to let everyone know that I was transferred from CME to CMF. I am in a medical facility. I was transferred on 5/7/14. It took like 5 hours to get from CME to CMF. I have now been in this new prison for 31 days and I like this prison. It's a lot better than CME.

I don't like change. I like to do a lot of time at the prison I'm at before I'm transferred out. There is several reasons why I regret being transferred. First of all I had the best cell mate that I've have ever had in the 20 years that I've been locked up.

His name is Scott Pinkerton we were cell mates for 5 years. He's like a brother to me and I miss him a lot. We do keep in contact through his attorney and also I will write to his blog. If things work out he will get transferred here and we can resume our prison programme. We both have life sentences so we have a lot in common.

I also regret the fact that I won't get to visit with my niece Cindy, her husband Matt and my 2 nephews. I didn't get to write her and let her know that they were transferring me to another prison. I was like 30 minds from where Cindy lived and now I'm 5 hours away.

I wanted to stay at CME so I could build a relationship with Cindy/family, she just recently me the rest of my family. I'm the uncle she hasn't even met to it upsets me that they transferred me away from my family. They are supposed to try and keep you as close to your family as possible.

I talked to my Brother Levi and found out my niece's new address. I'll be calling her when we get back in touch but for now I;ll write and tell her how bad I feel that they transferred me to this medical facility. I'm in a prison called CMF 'Vacaville'

Vacaville is a California medical facility. I'm in Vacaville CA; it's a cool prison to do time. The best thing about CMF is the staff treat you like a human. They all have manners. They don't treat us like cattle here, I appreciate that.

I'm going to change the address on my profile page so it reflects here not CMC. I tried to get this address put on my profile pg ASAP due to all my mail will to CMC then forwarded to me here at CMF. It could take over 1 month to answer/receive any mail from my blog.

Due to this address change please be patient with me, I'll answer my blog posts when I get them. This prison is a lot better than CME. The food is better here and the portions better. I'm living in a single man cell which is really nice.

This is a med fac so there is a lot of inmates in wheelchairs, canes etc. A lot of disabled convicts, blind people etc. I'm going to try and get a job helping push the guys in wheelchairs. I've always enjoyed helping others so I can't wait to get a job helping the disabled.

Write to me at the following address, I'll post everything about vacaville soon.

Hi, Donald!

How are you doing on this Thursday afternoon? I know that you said that you do not like change, but many times change can be a good thing! For instance, your transferring locations allows you to be treated the right way by the staff at Vacaville. I am glad that you like and are enjoying Vacaville. I really liked reading about your budding and growing relationship with your niece Cindy and her lovely family. Do not let this transfer disappoint you with regards to your relationship with Cindy. I have high hopes that you will be able to contact her very soon (if you have not already) and that she will go visit her uncle, no matter the distance. After reading about your bond with your old roommate Scott, I genuinely do hope that he will be transferred to Vacaville, and that you guys will be able to resume being the best roommates ever! I am glad that you seem to be enjoying your transfer despite these things. It's also great that you want to help others in need! That will make both you and others happy. I enjoyed reading your post, and I look forward to corresponding with you in the future!

Sincerely,

sanchezm
