POETRY

"Throwing Bread"

I love you my dear
Your speech lingers in my brain
The ducks by the lake
That I dream we throw bread to
And being chased by geese
From a ladder I'd clean your drains
Or putting together a new bed
I can hear your giggles in my clumsiness
If I were free I'd tend your garden too
While you give me something cool
Such thoughts open a mist
That escapes from my eyes
