Hi,
Long time no hear. I just wanted to send a short note and try to find out why I haven't heard back from you in all these months.
Kid update, she is angry with me and not speaking to me. But she is in a good foster home, so she says, and she is talking to my mom so I'll settle fr that right now.
This summer has been a nightmare for me between her and my moms new cancer, life has just been turned upside down. I cannot imagine losing my mom and in her voice, she sounds ready to give up. She constantly says she is so tired. The hardest part is not being able to do anything to help take care of her.
I don't know why I haven't heard from you since early summer but I just wanted to drop you a line and check in. Maybe you got married and have been on a super long honeymoon? Wouldn't that be nice. Take care of yourself and I hope to hear from you soon.
