More Self-Illustrated Tattoos
By Jennifer Gann
Here are some more of my self-illustrated tattoos. These are all on my left arm,
along with the large, negative-shaded "REVOLUTION" on back of my forearm.
The leprechaun with the gold coin saying "Get paid", and the horseshoe with shamrocks,
represents two things. First, my Scots-Irish heritage. Secondly, the "luck of the
Irish" and my gambling/street hustling.
The second representation is shown by the dice/dollar signs/poker chips right below that.
My "linked females" tatoo, along with my "Amazon Queen" statuette, represents Women's
solidarity and Lesbian feminist affinity.
In addition to these are several other tattoos on my left sleeve -- a butterly on my hand,
23 black and white shooting stars, a skull inside of a heart, seven flowers (5 roses,
1 sunflower and 1 lotus flower), a diamond, a bald eagle and Haida sun with eagle feather
(representing my American Indian/Cherokee heritage) and my lotus flower includes the natural
elements of water, earth, wind, and fire with an OM symbol centered in the fire (on my left tricep).
This represents my Native and Hindu spiritual beliefs.
Finally, an atomic symbol is shooting oit over the back of my left shoulder, carried by the wind blowing through the lotus and OM tattoo. The entire universe, including Mother Earth, is a divine manifestation of Shiva/Shakti composed of atoms, or subatomic particles.
Goddess bless you!
Long live the Amazons!
Baby Girl xoxo
