Week three has been a bust due to inclement weather. We had only got one day of yard. Temps ad hit below zero, so yard activities were canceled, and it seems like week four will be about the same. I'm hoping that the Unit Management takes this opportunity to modify their strip search policy so we can end this demonstration. The Unit Managment knows that this policy is wrong & not feasible as it's applied to Capital prisoners. The Unit Management has pretty much dug in their heels on enforcing this non-sense, more so as to not appear to give in to the prisoners' movement in opposition. In can understand the DOC's position to not give in or appear weak, but they're not being smart about this thing. Unless their intentions is to provoke us and agitate us. Because it seems that all of their policies do nothing but set us prisoners off, especially when the Unit is operating quietly and smoothly. Why don't they just leave us alone as we await our day in court or the death chamber? They always seem to quote policy when it never benefits the prisoners and imposes some hardships.
