Dear Julia,

I just received your comment on my blog (www.betweenthebars.org/blogs/1776) and, as far as receiving good news on my legal battle, I haven't yet. The legislation session ends this week and, from the looks of things, it looks like we all will be granted some relief. It is 400 of us that will be eligible for parole if this law passes. There is a rumor floating around that the prison passed the law a few days ago, but it isn't written in stone yet. If and once it is passed, I will be paroled back to Oakland, California within 90-120 days. So please pray for me.

Between now and then, you can continue to communicate with me several different ways. The old fashioned way, snail mail:

Or you can email me directly here at the unit. But first you have to long onto www.accesscorretions.com. Once on the site, you have to first register and after you have done that, you will have to click on "Secure Mail." When that screen pops up, click on "Add Recipient," enter "Arkansas" for the state, facility: "AR DOC". Then enter my name and click Find. When my name pops up in the upper-right hand corner, click on "Add Recipient." You will then be able to send me emails and/or photos, which I will receive the same day.

Once I go plug up the kiosk machine, any emails or photos that have been sent to me will be downloaded to my Ampd Maxx Pro mp4 player. I will then go back to my cell, read the emails, and then respond to them. I will then have to go back to the kiosk, plug up to send all of my replies back, and that's how it works. Once I hear something about the law, I will post it on my blog. Thank you very much for your concern, and I hope to hear back from you.

All of my contact info is below. Right now, I don't have any Internet access, but you can still send me a friend request, messages, and post comments on my Facebook wall. I will answer them, respond back to them, and accept all friend requests once I have Internet access again.
