Faraway,
I have spent a considerable amount of time trying to determine if I know who you might be, as your comment indicates we have a history.
If in fact we do have history, I owe you an apology. Sadly, I owe anyone who knew between the years of 1986 and 2000 an apology.
However, if you are who I think you are, I truly am sorry for betraying a relationship that was extremely significant to me for a number of reasons. For the time we spent together, but also for providing a standard (positive and constructive aspects of it) for what relationships are supposed to feel like and include, such as rooftop lunches and games of rollerblade tag.
