Dear ghost,

Thank you for your kind comments. I will continue to write poetry as it affords me a bit of peace in a not-so-peaceful environment.

My friends and I in here who are working on some prison reform issues could use some help on researching topics. If you could lend a hand, please let me know. I can assure you that it would not be too labor intensive.

I will leave you with a short poem:

Bright moon outside my window
Framed in bars and concrete
Shines on the night I truly miss
And lights up deep curiosity

What are they doing under the beams?
Do they dance on soft grass?
Will they embrace in the dunes?
Can they sleep until the dawn?

Bright moon outside the window
Framed by my dreams of life
Shines on a world I miss
And lights up my lonely hopes
