An Update

On September 21, 2011, after an illegally prolonged delay at California Correctional Institute (CCI), I was finally transferred from that miserable place to Kern Valley State Prison (KVSP). However, even here, I remain illegally confined in the Hole, or "ASU", based on lack of available level IV SNY bedspace in general population.
I am not alone. Many other prisoners continue to languish in ASU throughout the state, in violation of all existing state and federal laws. The projected wait here at KVSP to be released from ASU is between one and two months.
On a more positive note, living conditions are somewhat better here than at Tehachapi, even in the Hole. The food is better, we have more outdoor exercise, etc.
