Greetings, free world! So, Mr. Trump wants to keep all "foreign" Muslims out of the country (with a few exceptions). Who didn't see this coming? Can you see what's coming next? Who will his [administration] force to be registered? Keep in mind that this all stems from registering sex offenders. Remember what I had to say in my earlier posts? There always has to be a foreign boogeyman and a domestic one in order to create the fear needed to pass legislation that the public ordinarily would not allow. Understand that the price of the freedom we enjoy in our country is the risk of adverse actions.

What is most troubling to me is the response of the people supporting Mr. Trump (the audience). These are the same people who teach our children, police our streets, hire (or fire) us. Moreover, these people are sitting on juries. If they'll let Mr. Trump take and exploit their fears—stoking them into what is likely unconstitutional behavior, then what chance does a person (innocent or guilty) have in obtaining a constitutionally fair trail when the prosecutors are permitted to engage in certain amounts of fear mongering? With this knowledge, how can one deny that there are large numbers of innocent people locked away in the prisons of this country? Add to that those who didn't get a fair trial according to our U.S. Constitution.

Most people won't admit their biases when being selected for jury trial. I absolutely commend those who have the courage to do so. I'm currently in a cell with a decent guy who happens to be a Ukrainian Jew. He grew up around a lot of racist people (including his mom). SO I'm learning an awful lot about people who tend to think that way. I'm blessed.

Finally, I'm glad Mr. Trump spoke his true mind and hope he continues to do so. Let the world see who they are in bed and doing business with.
