Hello friends, family, and casual readers.
This will be last typed letter to you. They will have to be handwritten for the foreseeable future. The men that I work with have decided that they no longer want to work with a transgender and, since the men run prison, I am out of a job. :( It sucks when you have no recourse but to accept what is happening to you. But trust and believe that I will recover and find a better job. Karma has a way of making everything better. Nichiren Daishonin wrote, "Suffer what there is to suffer. Enjoy what there is to enjoy." I shall now enjoy the few days off before I have to start work somewhere else. I hope I don't have to go to the prison industry. Did you see Shawshank Redemption? Hahaha
Life continues to turn here within the walls. I'm loving the Occupy Wall Street movement. It's nice to see the people organizing on such a large scale. I was the evening news last night and saw a demonstration in Libiya with people holding signs. "Occupy Wall Street." The world is changing, and it is a good time to be alive, even though I can only view it through a TV screen.
I have been feeling down and out lately, but now I have been feeling better. I have a newfound sense of something good is coming if I can just hold on long enough.
To everyone who reads this: please remember that life will be what you make it. Practice what you preach, and above all else, there is always something to smile about if you look hard enough.
I will let ya'll know what happens later. I will probably not write again until December unless something dramatic happens...
