THE NORFOLK CHRONICLES

Rumor at good ole Norfolk has it that our highest ranking captain was arrested for shoplifting a candy bar down Cape Cod while on one of his numerous vacations paid for by the taxpayers of the Commonwealth. This captain, who is one of the highest paid employees in the DOC due to abuse of overtime (he has made $150,000.00), can certainly afford a Snicker's bar, but that "above-the-law" DOC employee attitude (and a few too many glasses of chardonnay) got him in trouble.

Arrests like this are not a problem here in the lawless DOC and especially at NorfolkWorld/WallyWorld. Old Deputy Cynthia Sumner had repeat drunk driving convictions but kept her $100,000.00 plus per year position; many times her position was bent over the toilet with dry heaves. This stick-fingered captain—the same captain that tried to convince men to claim the Free Speech Warrior as an "enemy" so they would not have to let him out of the hole/RB—will undoubtedly still roam around the camp seizing clotheslines, acting as the Dairy Products Sheriff, and basically making a laughing stalk out of his position. It will be business as usual.

A funny side note to the story is that this captain called another captain seeking help from his connections with "law enforcement," asking his brother captain to keep the situation "confidential." But the latter captain told everyone he could and now instead of eating a delicious Snicker's bar, the former captain is being snickered at all over the camp. They say "Snicker's satisfies," and we say the "Snicker's story" satisfies our hunger for comedy!
