Euthanasia at Old Colony

I respectfully request to inform the general public about a serious problem that is occurring in the Department of Corrections. I will address an issue that I have personally witnessed with my own eyes. The murder of several inmates at the hands of Correctional Staff.

On October 26th, 2015, I personally witnessed the death of an 81-year-old man who repeatedly complained of chest pains and breathing problems. I personally witnessed a registered nurse tell this gentleman to—and I quote—"SUCK IT UP," after repeated complaints of chest pain and breathing issues.

Registered Nurse Elizabeth [blank] told Jospeh on October 21st, 2015 that it was new medication and that he should allow his body the chance to get used to it—and when Mr. Watson further complained, he was told by Nurse [blank] and Nursing Supervisor Patricia [blank] to allow the medication to work, to suck it up. This comment was made in front of several other residents here at Old Colony.

Much like the ghosts of Souza-Baranowski, we too have ghosts here at Old Colony. The murders of Robert [blank] Michale still haunt me because the officers involved were later promoted and moved to other facilities to commit the same offenses again on other residents.

In the Robert [blank]case I was witness to, the effects that the Department of Correction had in stopping this committed inmate from taking his life. They allowed him two plastic trash bags; one he used to tie his hands behind his back before tying one around his head. Additionally, he chose to repeatedly kick himself in the chest with his size 11 boots, leaving bootprints on this chest before climbing under his state mattress and proceeding to suffocate during routing cell checks. This all occurred after he was informed of a death in his family and requested to speak to mental health.

Michael [blank] died under similar circumstances; he suffocated with a plastic bag while his hands were tied behind his back.

Cory Andrads was killed because Registered Nurse Elizabeth [blank] told him point blank, "I will not authorize any costly treatments for you, you drug addicted loser."

Anthony [blank] was in Attucks 3 on October 26th, 2015, had been complaining of migraine headaches from a fall two weeks previously, and was told by Nurse Stephanian that it was all in his head and nothing was wrong. Mr. [blank] had a major seizure and stopped breathing three times due to a brain aneurysm that went undetected for two weeks. An injury that was caused by a fall from his bunk and the administering of seven staples to close a gash in his skull.

On the day that Joseph [blank] DIED, HE REPEATEDLY COMPLAINED TO Correctional Officer Micheal [blank] about chest pains and loss of breath. He spoke to the officer at 15:45 hours and was told, "Go lay down. I'll call Medical." 45 minutes later, Joseph [blank] was dead from a massive heart attack that went untreated by staff or medical personnel. Joseph [blank] was not discovered for another 2 hours, when residents were released for evening chow.

The correctional policies state that security rounds be performed every 20 minutes to half hour. So where was Officer Michael Hallman during this time? Was he surfing the Internet or sleeping in the control center? Either way, Joseph lost his life because this officer was too busy to make a phone call in regards to a serious medical emergency. Then this same officer had the tenacity to post the words "DEAD LOCKED" on Joseph Watson's door, as if he was on trial.

I hope that this enlightens the opinion of the general public about how your tax dollars are actually being spent.
