Rocking Out

Six and a wake up!
I'm listening to the Bear, chilling in my cell and moving this pen to the rhythm in my head. I had a good day at work, got a hot shower, and took me a nap. Then went for a good lunch.

I turned on the Bear (102.5), and the first song they play was by one of my favorite bands: 3 Doors Down. The song is titled "Love Me When I'm Gone." If you haven't heard it, you need to download it. It's a song that permeates the soul.

The chorus goes sort of like this:
Hold me when I'm here
Love me when I'm wrong
Hold me when I'm scared
Love me when I'm gone
Everything I am, everything in me
Wants to be the one you want me to be
I'll never let you down
Even if I could
I'd give up everything
If only for your good
Love me when I'm wrong
I won't always be here
So love me when I'm gone

Something about those lyrics are real to me. I like the song "All That Remains" (The Last Time) is a bad song too. Anything by Stained is good too. I'm listening to a song called "You Gotta Keep 'Em Separated". This is one of the songs I used to dance to. I can't believe how much I've missed the music that I listened to growing up!

Anyways, I'm not one to discriminate against music of any type. It's my passion, and my other love is writing music. This is my escape from the reality of my pain. It doesn't hurt so bad today, which is a good thing.

I trained my replacement today. Wow, it becomes more and more real every day... I'm on my way out of here!

Can't wait to blog from the world. ❤+
