End the Corruption
End Wasting Taxpayers' Money
End the N.Y.S. Parole System

For many many years, the N.Y.S. sentencing guidelines and the parole system has changed or been amended numerous times and until this day, not once have any of them successful. The parole system and the sentencing structure in N.Y.S. cannot work together, especially the parole system that is corrupt, highly prejudice, and unconstitutional to all N.Y.S. prisoners.

New York Sate needs to adopt the system of some of the other states, abolish parole altogether, no more parole boards, parole officers or anything else that has to do with parole. We don't need a parole system. It's a huge waste of money for taxpayers and causes a lot of problems.

Abolishing the parole system in N.Y.S. does not have to alter the sentencing structure much at all. There are two ways that this can be done to ensure that justice will be served and still have the sentencing enhancement.

First, make all sentences determinate. For example, if a person receives a sentence of six years, he does the whole six years and gets released with no parole. And if he happens to get a misbehavior report and loses six months, now he has to do six years and six months. This may also reduce a lot of the problems in our prison system.

Or make all sentences indeterminate with conditional release date. For example, if a person receives a sentence of twenty-five years to life, he does the whole twenty-five years and gets release with no parole. And since everyone's sentences are in the computer, if that person commits another crime, his next sentence would be natural life. The same does for a person who would get a sentence of two to six years. That person would do two years and released with no parole. If he catches another sentence before his other four years are up, then that person would have to finish whatever he has left of the four years and then start his new sentence.

Either one of these ways would save the state money because there would be no more paperwork, no more violating an offender for stupid parole violations, and no more parole officers driving around doing nothing. And since all the parole employees are already corrupt and highly prejudice towards criminals, they would have no problem fitting in the prison system as correctional officers.

And for the offenders, this would give them something to think about before committing another offense. And if one of these sentencing structures was adopted, it should be made retroactive for all offenses, not just certain ones. Everyone already sentenced now should have the same opportunity to have their sentences modified to fit the new sentencing structure.

We need a change in N.Y.S. Abolish the parole board and this will help some of the corruption in N.Y.S. If you care about protecting the rights of your family and friends, write your representatives and senators.
