Hi, Rita. Got your comment. By now you should have received my letter and picture. Did you?
Yes, I have some friends here, but mostly I stay to myself. No, I am in a state prison, much worse than federal and definitely a lot of retaliation for exercising our rights. There is a lot of unnecessary assaults on inmates from the officers.
Hiking is one sport I enjoy doing also. I used to do a lot of it before I came to prison. Now, with asthma and old age, don't know if I could do it anymore. But if I ever get out, I will try.
Yes, we can receive books through Amazon, but the only book that I read and study are law books. There are two books that I could really use. One is called Gilbert's Law Book and the other one is Self-Help Litigation Manual, both law books for New York state. I don't know how much they are, but if they are too much, don't worry about it. But if you do decide to get me at least one of them, please make it the Gilbert's because that book has everything I need in it.
As for music, all I listen to is country music. Haven't been listening to my music lately. Been spending most of my time in the prison law library, which is where I am going in about fifteen minutes.
