In My House

In my house God can be
extremely hard to find,

The bars, the chains, the hatred
offer much to hide HIm behind.

At times the will to seek Him
is so very, very weak

But urgency, desire, can spark
a soul that's incomplete.

Just ask and you'll receive
must be your battle cry

And on wings of angels
to new heights you will fly.

Freedom of the soul
is what He has in store for you

In spite of bars, chains, and hatred
a miracle can break through.
