Description: On Friday, November 12, 2010, at approximately 1:30 p.m., this reporting officer along with Inner Perimeter Security Unit Commander Lieutenant Stephen Gatewood reported to the Special Management Unit (S.M.U.) at M.C.I. Norfolk for the purpose of informing inmate Timothy Muise (W-66927) why he had been removed from general population.

During the interview with inmate Muise, he was advised that he was placed within the S.M.U. on Pending Investigation Status due to security concerns within the institution as well as suspected illicit activity. Inmate Muise was then advised that he would be interviewed at length at a later date and at this time inmate Muise became uncooperative and stated "don't waist your time, I won't speak with you, things are going to be done on my terms." Inmate Muise was then advised that he would remain within segregation pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation and again he became uncooperative stating "you can keep me here until 2017."
