The Novelist Portent

PARAGON VOW

I.
If I love a woman
then I love her complete.

II.
I do not do drugs of
any sort or kind. NO!

I do not hit her with
my fist or word of flair.

I do not choose a job
over her of any pay.

I do not stay out all
night long; night after night.

I do not pass blame of
my ways with any card.

I do not do the things
that I know not to do.

I do not denigrate
her character at all!

III.
If I love a woman
then I love her for her.

IV.
I will assuage her
heartache by loving ways.

I will obviate her
need to find another.

I will behave with the
upmost propriety.

I will savor each and
every inch of her.

I will satiate her
every known desire.

I will log every
minute of each felt day.

I will make obsolete
all of those before me.

V.
If I love a woman
I exculpate her sin.
