Dear blog readers,

Greeting. This blog post which I share with you today is a story I came across in a New York magazine written by Geoffrey Grey. This story is about some of the corruption and brutality that a lot of prisoners witness and talk about which most of the general public and state officials dismiss as exaggerated, angry prisoner talk.

I share this story with you in order to show you the foundation of some of the expressions that I write. I also want to share with you a recent prison related statistics.

You can find additional reporting of this story online by Andre Tarter. Now I present to you The Lords of Rikers.

Sincerely,
[signature]
George Borges
