it's MARCH 21 n im still in Lalaland :) from what I just gathered literally minutes ago MARCH 12 was a SPIRITUAL EXODUS, as parts of me still have 2 come outta spiritual incarceration

still MARCH 27 has also been comin 2 me since like 2017 December. last year a associate left 4 transfer on that day... maybe this year it'll b me god did not tell me im leavin on MARCH 27 but it's comin 2 me 4 a reason N IM HOPING ITS ME PACKIN UP but it could mean a visit (been 3yrs) or could b a letter from Priska (daughter) could b some miraculous release stuff! could b bad news or a tragedy …

so...
some victims victimize cause they heart battered, it has accumulated years of
bitterness, hatred, anger, shame, regret, misunderstanding, unanswered questions, low self-esteem, bruised identity or fragile one ...that was never dusted off of they most precious heart. feel me?
I know this 1st hand I had a dream of being a dr at 6 but by 14 my heart wouldn't let me though I took courses 2 learn medical terms, cpr, the Heimlich maneuver, how 2 find a pulse n home remedy s.
what side tracked me was being picked on verbally n physically. 1 day I just fought back. that seemed 2 alleviate the situation but also helped side track my heart...

that's y I believe restorative justice is so important 4 the soul. y I believe LOVE N NURTURING R so detrimental, so that we can reach b4 this criminal point. what if we restored justice b4 it was broken? what if Chicago schools had a restorative justice program 2 confront the victimization the youth face daily n they neighborhoods n some on the home homefront. hurts when ur parents call u names or say "u aint gone b nothin like yo daddy"

so as I was saying...
I was the restorative justice guest co-speaker. I did a speech entitled WHERE IS HOME?
in it the restorative justice principles were related thru the acronym RICH mainly the ripple effect. how crime effects more than just u n the victims. so there are no victimless crimes at best criminals victimize loved ones mainly their mom. ask me how I know? well I'll tell u... my mom once told me, "u don't know what its like 2 have a child in prison. its like a piece of me died"

well via restorative justice I learned that rehabilitation is a matter of the heart not the head. yes the heart. the very center of our being. the center of our very lives. ask ne one whose experience d a broken heart n they'll tell u how it -sometimes- led 2 them makin broken choices n irrational ones, that may or may not cost them in the long run. that's y I love the wisdom Solomon left us in proverbs 4;23
PROTECT UR HEART WILL ALL DILIGENCE FOR OUT OF IT FLOWS THE ISSUES OF LIFE.
also Proverbs 23;7 FOR AS A MAN THINKS IN HIS HEART SO IS HE so restorative justice helped my heart 2 heal. see my crime was birthed from a broken, bitter, n hardened heart check my tattoos

lets do a reverse scared str8!
what if we had restorative justice at inner city schools in Chicago n other heavily violent communities?
what if we brought in victims n victimizers/ex-cons 2 talk candidly bout their experiences? how crime affected them... how inner city life in general took its toll on them.
what if they encouraged the kids 2 talk 2 them maybe one on one or via a phone call etc bout the lil subtle victimizations in their life, like being teased 4 being poor, bout being solicited 4 gangs/being in one, peer pressure, the temptation 2 do crime 2 fit in, b accepted, or 4 financial gain, or even respect yeah lets bring restorative justice 2 schools.
bet that'll do more good than study hall
we need 2 reach the broken.
we need 2 get back 2 "IT TAKES A VILLAGE 2 RAISE A CHILD"
we need 2 acknowledge/confront the fact that some parents r broken 2...the reason they didn't teach their children better. feel me?

in our restorative justice class lets provide a safe space 2 talk bout our individual n collectively PTSD n ne other psychological issues we may have/experience d like hopelessness. yeah people do crime 4 that reason as well as because they subconsciously suicidal. some do crime cause they've simply given up on life 2 the point where prison/death seems better than freedom, believe'n they got nothing to live 4. even met a man who did crime so he could come 2 prison in an effort 2 meet his long lost dad :(
