Addiction

From While I Breath, I Hope. by Sarai Rose

Addiction

Silent as a shadow, like a whisper upon the wind—you crept back into my life and took control of my heart, filling all my dreams with visions of you, and now I'm addicted and can't let go.

While I'm deprived of your touch, the withdrawals quickly set in, leaving me delirious of your touch, craving your kiss; without you—even for a moment seems a bit too much.

I need you! And in this addiction I need to feel you in my soul, to dance within the pools of your beautiful and hypnotic eyes—to chase away the loneliness, rendering me complete as only you can do.

I crave the taste of your tender young lips, to feel your magical touch upon my heart; I long for the fusing of our souls—where two become as one; and when death in all her beauty comes to claim me, I'll surrender in peace—knowing we'll be together again somewhere out upon the horizon of time. Not even death, my love, could keep us apart.

When nuit designed the heavens with all their brilliant and luminous stars—she surely had you in mind; and when Hadit formed the soft and glorious moon—surely you were the archetype, which explains the ebb and flow upon my soul, whenever you're near or afar—You! Carrie, are my beautiful guiding star.

I love this new addiction and all that it truly means, as you are even dancing within my dreams.

I've been waiting a lifetime for something, even longing for something, never knowing exactly what it was; Now! with these feelings so new, I've discovered that what I was waiting for—was you!
