Dear Father John,
Thank you for your response. I appreciate the time you spent to send me these lyrics. I am familiar with Pink Floyd and Kendrick Lamar songs, though not the Qohelth words. They are quite true, and I agree. There is a time for everything. Seasons come and seasons go, just like experiences in life.
In my case, endurance was key. But if not for other factors, my endurance wouldn't have meant anything. Because eventually I did give up. But like the saying goes, "Once you hit bottom, the only way to go is up."
Thank you for your compliment on my poem. What you wrote about it being close to despair, you're right. But with me, that's when I wrote my best. I wish it was the other way around.
