Dear Inside World (Tenzin),
Thank you for the quote by Maya Angelou, "When I knew better I did better. Do better. Be better. Think better. Act better." That is the motto I live by.
Since being incarcerated, I have never brought into the rule "that the guards are the enemy. I've always understood that being a correctional officer was a job which provided a means for them (guards) to support themselves and their families. I also understand that there are good and bad guards; just like there are good and bad prisoners. But I've never judged all guards by the bad actions of a few!
I am not going to relitigate nor debate [cut off] it go, and now it's time for others to do as well, for anyone to continue harboring hate in their heart towards me, isn't going to heal their pain. I pray that we can all find forgiveness, so we can all live in peace with ourselves and each other.
