"A BAD EXAMPLE OF THE MEDICAL PROFESSION AT UCI"

Well I had surgery yesterday, Friday, January 14, 2022 on my wrist where three bones had to be removed. I think it was messed up due to these handcuffs and black boxes. Anyways the surgeon wrote an order for me to cover my wrist with a plastic bag while I'm bathing. Well nurse Lee an LPN who's got a bad attitude and a foul mouth. Came back here at 9:45am and brought me my meds, which no doubt my wife had to call up here and get them to bring, since she didn't bring it this morning. This is the same nurse who talked to my former neighbor inmate Glover, back in August like he was a dog. Pissed me off, so I wrote about it. She's also the one who let Steve Smith lay out here on the table in the clinic and die, rather than rushing him up to urgent care and saving his life. I've avoided speaking with this woman when she's on duty. Well I showed her the surgeons order's and she said, and I quote, "He doesn't run nothing over here, I'm the f**king boss!!" And she's really nothing more than a pill pusher. She passes out medication. Her conduct and her language was completely and totally inappropriate. And it was a violation of the rules of conduct 33-208.002. This is the type of inconsiderate disrespectful individuals who can't get a job anywhere but a prison, because the public isn't going to put up with that foul mouth and disrespectful attitude. Some boss huh? She let a man die out there on that table under her care. And no one wants to engage in a conversation with her. Just wanted to share this incident and document it. This is why we need change. This is why we need staff taking polygraph exam's. Because this is unbecoming of the rules and regulations that she's bound by. God bless you all.
