Ignorant Notions
I recently been asked by someone I felt knew me better than most why I haven't expressed remorse for past deeds? That to me is a loaded question that has no correct answer or I should say satisfactory answer to the vast majority of people with biased and prejudicial mindsets! My question is what good does my expressing remorse for past deeds do for me in seeking help for the injustice I suffer and endure? Is society remorseful for the injustice I suffer and endure? Will my expressing remorse for perceived past sins help others to express remorse for not speaking out or helping me overcome the injustice I suffer and endure? Why should I, express remorse for being human and having made mistakes to anyone other than my God who has already shown me His grace? In my faith - I have no remorse in serving my Father God, when it is His will being done through me! When I was reborn in His Spirit - I no longer got judged for the deeds of the flesh, since I was no longer of the flesh... I am only a sojourner of this world - who judges others by their spirit and not the flesh - I expect those of this world to slander and misjudge me as they done my Lord and Brother Jesus Christ - He never expressed remorse for the labels others placed upon Him! I suppose this is my response to that question of remorse asked of me - Without remorse, I have no control of how it will be received...
