INTEGRATING ISP INMATES WITH THOSE OF CCU IS NOT PROPER
_______________________________________________________
Some of the pm ISP inmate workers have been concerned about being mixed with CCU inmates that share the dining hall. Inmate workers believe that CCU inmates are too unpredictable and could put other inmates into negative situations that they could not avoid. The inmates that do not reside in the CCU feel it is putting unnecessary pressure on them to be in or around the dining hall at the same time.
On the other hand, CCU inmates are in real fear of serious danger being provoked by the prison staff to engage in assaults or physical altercations with ISP inmates, which could not be avoided.
In December 2011, information has shown that prison administrators do not intend to resolve the issue from the very fact that to them, it is an unavoidable situation.
