Value Your Time

"Value Your Time"

One of the best expressions of love is time. The substance of something can be measured by how much time one is willing to invest in that something.

The more time you give to something, the more you will receive back in return from that something because of the time and effort you gave wholeheartedly to it. You will also treasure it more due to precious time you've invested in the nurturing of it. If you would like to understand a person's values, just observe how they spend their time. Time is a most precious gift, definitely. You should always spend your time wisely because time is essential and of great essence. Our stay here on this planet is but a short one, though it may appear a very long existence. It is but a blink in the eye to our Creator.

One can make more money, more trouble, or even more love. But neither can one delay time or move it forward at a faster pace of one's own will or other than what has already been decreed. So slow it down. Take your time and think before you end up wasting your time.

We always say "I'll start tomorrow" or "Oh, we got time..." Truth be told, we would like to think that, but you never know when it's your time, the calling of your soul. So live as if you were dying. I'm done wasting my time. I've already wasted too much.

JT - Thank you for this valuable reminder about something that is so precious. If only more of us realized how important it is to slow down, appreciate each moment, and make the most of our time here on Earth, I'm sure we would have less suffering.

I hope you are well, and that you'll keep writing!
