today you turn five.
I've let you down, but I am still around:
you do have a dad that is alive—
with love for you, you will one day see.
You're the living proof of a love I once found,
that even looks like a clone of me.
When we meet you'll be all grown;
but I still love your mother.
She does what she thinks' best, who'd've ever known
our one plus one would equal such a three.
If it were up to me we'd throw a party
with your sisters and your brother.
