"MY BLOG OF MY LIFE IN PRISON"

I USE TO THINK THAT LIFE WAS HILLS AND VALLEY'S- YOU GO THROUGH
A DARK TIME. THEN YOU GO TO A MOUNTAIN TOP, BACK AND FORTH. BUT AFTER
SPENSDING 13TH YEARS OF MY LIFE IN PRISON I DONT BELEVIE THAT ANYMORE.
RATHER THAN LIFE BEING HILL AND VALLEY'S I BELIEVE THHAT IT'S ALL KIND OF LIKE
TWO RAILS ON A RAILROAD TRACK, AND AT ALL TIMES YOU HAVE SOMETHING
GOOD AND SOMETHING BAD IN YOUR LIFE, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING GOOD
YOU CAN THANK GOD FOR.

YOU CAN FOCUS ON YOUR PURPOSES, OR YOU CAN FOCUS ON YOUR
PROBLEMS.IF YOU FOCUS ON YOUR PROBLEMS, YOU'RE GOING INTO SELF CENTERD-
NESS, WHICH IS MY PROBLEM, MY ISSUES, MY PAIN: BUT I'VE LEARNED ONE OF THE
EAIEST WAYS TO GET RID OF PAIN IN TO GET YOUR FOCUS OFF YOUR SELF AND ONTO GOD AND OTHERS.

BEING IN PRISON I'M SURROUNDED DAILY BY PEOPLE WITH A
NEGATIVE DISPOSITION ABOUT EVERY LITTLE THING, AND IT'S OFTEN DIFFICULT
TO STAY FOCUS AND KEEP A OPEN MIND TOWARDS PEOPLE. BUT IALWAYS MAKE A
REAL EFFORT TO BE CHEERFUL BY GIVEN THANKS TO GOD FOR STRAIGHTENED MY
CHARACTER OUT TO ENABLE ME TO SAY FOCUS. I've LEARNED TO DEAL WITH BUTH THE
GOOD AND THE BAD OF LIFE, AFTER LOOSING MY MOTHER AND FATHER WHILE BEHIND
PRISON WALLS IT TAUGHT ME THAT GOD IS MORE INTERESTED IN YOUR CHARACTER THAN
YOUR COMFORT. GOD IS MORE INTERESTED IN MAKING YOUR LIFE HOLY THAT HE IS IN
MAKING YOUR LIFE HAPPY.

THE PAST YEAR HAS BEEN THE GREATEST YEAR OF MY LIFE IN DEVELOPING
MY CHARACTER, BUT ALSO THE TOUGHEST BY LOOSING MY PARENTS. YOUR MIND IS THE
BATTLEFIELD WHERE VISTORY IS WON FOR LOST

WHY SHOULD I BE DISCONTINUED WHEN I. LIKE PAUL, CAN LEARN TO BE
CONTENT IN ALL MY CIRCUMSTANES? "PHILIPPIANS 4:1 THANK YOU FOR YOUR
TIME MAY GOD BLESS YOU.

SINCERELY, JAMES W. TAYLOR

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post. I am sorry to hear about your parents, must have been hard but I am glad that you have been so positive considering your currant situation. It is great to know that there is still some kind of humanity left in the world with the courage and understanding of how life true is. Even though it took putting you behind bars to figure it out, but life is full of lesson and we all learn them differently and in our own time.
Stay positive James!

Sincerely,
Katzen - Model
