Phone Justice
I have family that lives out of state so I don't get to see them. And here in Cal in order to call home.
Your family most have an account with Global Teklink and my family is on a fixed income and cannot afford a prepaid account.
As a result, it's been years since I've talked to my family on the phone.
And because of this fact I've missed out on birthdays and other special events.
And this has made me and my family disconnected from each other.
And I fear that if something were to happen to my family I wouldn't find out for weeks or longer.

I am writing to let you know about Prison Action News, a biannual journal of prisoners' stories of resistance to incarceration. Written by prisoners and edited and distributed by outside volunteers, PAN has about 1,600 incarcerated subscribers across the US.
